The Smile for Emily Fundraising Group organise events in and around the Chorley/Leyland area and they donated a fantastic £11,000 in 2006. Their events include Fashion Shows, Curry Nights, Pamper Days and much, much more-coming in October is their next Fashion show - details are on Community Fundraising Events.
B.E.A.R. (Briggers, Everything, Always for Rosemere)

The Bear Group are an innovative daring mix of people whose exploits have so far brought in over £25,000. Led by the charismatic Tracey Bevan, they organise a number of events, including an annual sponsored walk and Christmas pub crawl.

This group loves organising trips.their activities include an annual trip to Chester Races which is a fantastic day out. This year it was on August 5th and at the beginning of December a Christmas shopping trip to Worcester Markets. Call Norman for details.

The ladies of Kirkham & Rural Fylde have been with Rosemere from the start and have raised thousands of pounds over the last decade. Experienced fundraisers with a solid core of support, antiques evenings, garden parties and fashion shows are very much their forte (not to mention the cakes!!).
Catherine’s Crusaders

Catherine’s Crusaders are a very proactive group in the East Lancashire area. Their fundraising activities are increasing as are their donations to Rosemere! From £3000 in their first tear to an astonishing £16,000 last year, the events they have lined up for this year look set to break that figure. Their activities range from dinners to ladies evenings to market stalls. They never miss an opportunitiy to raise funds and are becoming very well known in the area so that a number of people have contacted them to raise money for Rosemere.
The Witches of Adlington

An eclectic gathering extrovert ladies who organise some great events raising in excess of £10,000 a year. Like Catherine's Crusaders they have built up a following in their area and it seems that most people have heard of them! They have so many ideas about raising funds, are outrageous in their approach and will do anything to further their goal of helping Rosemere!
Rosemere Golfers Against Cancer

This group is expanding and raising the profile of Rosemere in the golfing world in Lancashire, playing at many of the Golf Days that are organised for Rosemere across the region as well as organising their own. With links with Golfers Against Cancer in the US, Golfers Against Cancer have just set up a ladies section who will soon be up and playing in tournaments

A longstanding supporter of Rosemere, Jenny, landlady of the pub organises so many ‘wacky’ events such as a Christmas Party in June and barbeque in December! A pub crawl and wine tasting evening are among the numerous annual events which added to the weekly pub quizzes and monthly breakfast raffles that she organises ensure a fantastic sum of money being presented to Rosemere - most recently one for £5,250!
Karen's Kops

This energetic group of Police women have already run the Blackpool 10k and completed the tough 3 Peaks Challenge of Snowden, Ben Nevis and Scafell. They are considering their next challenge.

A new group who actually raised funds throughout 2006 and gave us a cheque for £1100.00. They have recently held a house party and have a shopping trip and coffee morning planned.
