donations in lieu of flowers
As relatives often opt for ‘family flowers only’, the chance to make a donation to the Rosemere Cancer Foundation gives those attending the funeral an opportunity to express their sympathy and show their love and respect.
The collection will usually be organised by the Funeral Director who will forward the total amount to the Foundation following the funeral. We will then acknowledge the donation to the next of kin, usually within two working days.
Alternatively, the family can arrange the collection and sometimes find comfort in bringing the monies in to the Rosemere office personally.
Donation envelopes can be provided on request which allows the Rosemere Cancer Foundation to claim the Gift Aid on each personal donation made by a UK tax payer, adding 25p to every £1 donated.
