In school/college
Easy ideas to make fundraising in school fun!
Non Uniform Days - Everyone will pay a small amount to junk the uniform for a day! Set a theme such as loud trousers or gross ties and involve the teaching staff too.
Battle of the Bands - Is your school very musical? Involve all the music acts in a concert and charge the audience a small amount to attend and cast their vote for the best one.
Talent Competition - Along the lines of X Factor or Britain's Got Talent with a panel of judges. Again, charge an entry fee.
Cake Bake - get together with friends and Domestic Science staff to bake cakes and sell them in the playground in the lunch hour.
Retiring Collections - Take a collection at the end of the school concerts or plays. We'll supply the buckets!
Frog Sales - Sell our famous Rosemere frog key rings during break.
Rosemere Events - Get as many people from your year as possible to enter the Rosemere Fun Run or Sponsored Walk and collect sponsorship from their friends and family. See the events page for details.
Treasure Hunt - Lay a trail in the school grounds and charge friends to enter. They have to solve the clues and find the treasure to win. Or why not hold an Easter Egg hunt next Easter?
Quizzes - Research questions on a favourite topic and devise a quiz sheet. Charge everyone a small amount to enter but set a time limit so people don’t have time to look up the answers on the internet! Of why not set up an Eggheads Competition - teachers versus pupils - and charge people to come and watch. We can help with questions.
Roses on Valentine’s Day - Buy silk roses cheaply on the internet and sell them for friends to give anonymously on Valentine’s Day. Ask form teachers to give them out at registration.
Charity Sports Matches - Girls versus boys, teachers versus pupils, football, cricket, hockey. The choices are endless. Set up cheer leading teams and charge everyone a small amount to enter or watch. Add a guess the score competition to raise extra money. Excellent for the last day of term!
