at school or university
Thousands of young people fundraise for charity through schools, colleges, universities or youth organisations in the UK every year. By doing so they build confidence and self-esteem, learn new skills and gain valuable experience and points towards initiatives such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme.
If you are a young person looking to fundraise for Rosemere with your mates or a teacher or youth leader who can introduce the Foundation to the young people you work with, click here to down your fundraising pack, follow the links below for lots of ideas and contact your Area Fundraiser who will be happy to help.
Rosemere staff are always happy to give presentations to groups of young people tailored to their interests, age, national curriculum etc. For 16 - 18 years olds these can also be linked with information on careers in oncology, in particular radiotherapy, medical engineering and medical physics.
If you are a young person looking for a volunteering opportunity or wanting to fundraise for Rosemere with your mates, or if you are a teacher or youth leader who can introduce the Rosemere Cancer Foundation to the young people you work with, contact your Area Fundraiser:
