Land’s End to John O’Groats in 7 and a half days!
Event Date: Thursday, 01 September 2011
What a superb achievement! Paul Parkinson took up the challenge to cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats and he managed to complete this in 7 ½ days. Paul was a little disappointed as he had hoped to complete the ride in 7 days but he hadn’t accounted for the British weather! In spite of this slowing him down, he still averaged over 120 miles per day.
Many thanks to Paul and to all who have supported him in this challenge; in total he raised £1842 for Rosemere to support the treatment and support of cancer patients in Lancashire and South Cumbria.
