Over 8,000 people are diagnosed with cancer each year in Lancashire and South Cumbria. They are treated at the region’s specialist Cancer Centre in Preston, and a network of local Cancer Units. But treatment is expensive and there is little left over in the NHS budget for non-essential items that may make all the difference to patients.

This is where the Rosemere Cancer Foundation comes in, raising additional funds for research, patient welfare projects, equipment and training to ensure the very best care possible, wherever patients are treated in this part of the North West.
