Get your school involved

Thousands of young people fundraise for charity through schools, colleges, universities or youth organisations in the UK every year. By doing so they build confidence and self-esteem, learn new skills and gain valuable experience and points towards initiatives such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme.

Rosemere staff are always happy to give presentations to groups of young people tailored to their interests, age, national curriculum etc. For 16 - 18 years olds these can also be linked with information on careers in oncology, in particular radiotherapy, medical engineering and medical physics.

If you are a young person looking for a fundraising opportunity, or if your children are keen to help us make a difference, please get in touch. Many youngsters around the region have helped by promoting us as their class charity, holding bake sales or other fundraising events for us, or raising money for us through dress down days or sports days - and we hugely appreciate all of their hard work!
