Hotel Acts On Its Guest List!

A final tally-up of funds collected over 2017saw Jonathan, assistant manager Paulina Beaton and the Hills (pictured) able to present Rosemere with a cheque for £1,011.74 for its 20 Years Anniversary Appeal. Jonathan, who with Caroline has been at the Cedar Manor for 11 years this spring, said: “David and Dorothy have become friends and they recommended Rosemere to us.

“David is very persuasive and it’s hard to say no to him but every year, we choose a local charity to champion so were happy to go with David and Dorothy’s suggestion of Rosemere. As well as my run, we raised funds through our New Year raffle in both 2017 and this year that gives guests staying with us for the celebration a chance to win a free weekend break, plus we had a collection tin, which is going to stay on our reception desk!”

Why not volunteer?

Why not volunteer?

During December Rosemere awarded it's annual 'Emily Dibben Volunteer of the Year' award at the Volunteer and Supporters' Night. It is always such a hard decision to single an individual, couple or group out for this acknowledgement, as we have so many fantastic people who go above and beyond in their efforts to support Rosemere. We are truly grateful for everything that you all do for us and couldn't do what we do, without your kind support and generosity.

Congratulations go to this year's recipients Norma Blackburn and Margaret Dunn who received their award from last year's winner Frank Dinsdale. Margaret and Norma are masters at organising fund-raising events in support of Rosemere and also attend so many Rosemere events during the year, usually running a tombola!
